Photography (with a camera obscura)

Objectives

The goal is to learn how the light bends, how a photo is made and developed. Participants will learn to combine phenomenon from chemistry and physics into every day matters. The participants are encouraged into creative thinking and working.

Description

The instructor will briefly introduce the history of photography and go through the procedure of taking pictures with a pinhole box camera (camera obscura) and how to develop the pictures in a darkroom. Every participant will take own photo with the box camera and develop it in the darkroom. A frame can be also made for the photo.

This programme suits for all ages.
For camp schools, a separate material fee will be charged.
